Talking about school subjects:
Let’s start with something you know already.
How you say you like/dislike something:

Now look at the list of school subjects in the vocabulary section.

Try to put the 2 things together:

example- J’adore les maths. Je déteste le dessin.

Activity 1

Write 8 sentences about the school subjects you like/dislike. Remember, the word for “the” in French (le/la/l’/les) has to go before the school subject. e.g. J'aime le français.

Why do you like/dislike a subject?
Using the vocabulary section of your workbook, write about three subjects you like and two you don't like using parce que which means because.
example - J'aime l'anglais parce que c'est utile.
Je déteste les maths parce que c'est difficile.
